What is Be Activated?
Be Activated is a powerful system used by athletes, health professionals, and everyday people to improve performance, treat injuries, manage stress, and relieve chronic pain.
At its core, the method helps the body reset its two survival priorities: breathing and movement. When these aren’t working properly, the body compensates—leading to dysfunction, pain, and reduced performance.

How Do Be Activated Sessions Work?
Each session is unique and shaped by what the client brings on that particular day. We typically start with a brief check-in to explore where they are in life and what they’re feeling in their body. Many clients come with a specific issue they’d like to work on—whether physical or emotional—but sometimes, we simply stay open and see what arises in the moment.
After the check-in, we move to the table and begin the work. The Be Activated approach follows a straightforward process: Test – Intervention – Re-Test. For every activation, we perform a test before and after to clearly observe any shifts or changes.
What’s most important to understand is that this is the client’s process, not the practitioner’s. We don’t dig for stories or try to force outcomes. Instead, we listen to what the body is asking for, respond accordingly, and reassess. It’s a simple, powerful, and beautifully effective system.


What Can I Expect After a Session?
After a session, it’s common to notice a rise in emotional activity. Many people assume this means sadness, but because we've given your nervous system some much-needed space, you might experience a wide range of emotions—sadness, anger, joy, frustration, even unexpected happiness. It’s all valid, and it’s all possible.
Since "feeling all the feels" can sometimes feel overwhelming, I encourage clients to reach out if anything feels off or different. We can connect and navigate it together.
I also often recommend treating yourself afterward—doing something small and indulgent that you wouldn’t normally give yourself permission to do. Maybe that’s taking a midday nap, trying a new flavor of ice cream, or simply taking time to rest. Working with the nervous system can be gritty, intense work—and everyone deserves a little reward after a deep reset.
